We only sell high quality Zebra Rugs which meet the following criteria:

-      Minimal Scars or blemishes (these rugs are from wild zebras which have defended themselves from predator attacks over the years and have lived in an environment with cactus type trees which can cause scaring...any knicks have been sewn

-      Hair Quality (Is the main long and flowing, tail straight or crooked)

-      Size (5 x 9 ft is a huge Zebra rug)

A Zebra Rug that we grade as “A” Quality is typically 5 feet wide and 9 feet long at the longest points.  This rug will be of great quality with only a few blemishes, very much a “Trophy Room” grade.  A fine and high quality rug...better than most you will find elsewhere.

We use only the very best of our zebra hides to create our Leather Trimmed Zebra Hides with rug backing.  These rugs are hand-sewn in the United States by professional seamstresses...you will not find a better Zebra Rug anywhere else in the World.


Burchells Zebra
All of our zebra skin rugs are from the Burchells Zebra (Equus Burchelli). Unlike the Hartman’s Zebra and Mountain Zebra, Burchells zebra are prolific and are not an endangered species. The zebra hides we sell are from South African and Namibia  These Zebra rugs are imported legally and inspected by US Customs and US Department of Fish and Wildlife.
